Cat Chase
Through the kitchen kitties run, Slipping on the linoleum Running faster on the floor, Chase each other out the door.
Through the hall the cats did dash, Jewel rammed Ayla as they crashed, Jewel kept running, Ayla fell, Penny followed Jewel’s smell.
Round the sofa, Jewel did run, Just as Penny cat had sprung, Over the recliner Penny went, Just to keep up with Jewel’s scent.
Penny passed Jewel by short cut, A sinking feeling in Jewel’s gut, With perfect Penny dead ahead, Jewel starts chasing her ahead.
Round and round the kitties go, Darting quickly to and fro, Forward, backward, wherever they went, Neither losing the other’s scent
Through the study kitties race Never giving up the chase, Over and around the bed, Now, Jewel is the cat ahead.
Through the hall and out the door Crashing to the basement floor. Penny strolls straight for her wish She starts eating from Jewel’s dish.
