When You Write...
When you write a song or a poem, or anything in the first person, you have to brainstorm and get your creative juices flowin, and when you write, your feelings are supposed to speak through you, and when you write, the words on the paper are supposed to speak for you. When you write, your feelings are supposed to come out, and you write things you wouldn't normally talk about, You could be quiet or be loud, it doesn't matter ’cause you talk with your pen and not with your mouth. You see, when you write, it doesn’t always have to make sense, ’cause when you write, thoughts will just flow from your conscience. So the next time you write, just try it, and take my advice, and when you’re done, step back and see what it looks like, So now you’re a poet and you didn't even know it, you’re a songwriter, whose every word is on fire, or an English major and sooner or later, you'll be Boston city mayor. So when you write, you won't need help from no one else, and you'll see the work of art that you’ve created all by yourself.
