On the Outside

On the outside, you see a girl.

Who is full of happiness, who loves the world.

She walks around without a care,

Surrounded by love but what’s really there?

Look to her inside, and you will see,

She’s not as happy as she seems to be.

Crying on the inside, but never shows,

The pain inside of her that constantly grows.

Sharing with no one, keeping her feelings on the shelf,

All she really wants in life is just to be herself.
