Alice Wang
Who am I?
Who am I? Just a lone teenager standing in the world Watching life spin around Wondering where I belong, where my place is What the world should know me as What I should see as
Who do others see me as? A girl A child A student A skater A dancer I’m all these Yet they see only an outer shell
Perhaps my true self is for me and only me to know I am all the above Yet there is more Only I think my thoughts Only I experience my own life’s pleasures Only I endure my troubles Only I feel my pains Only I can follow my heart
Who am I? I am me As no one else will ever know Just me
