VOLUNTEERING AT WINCHESTER HOSPITAL
I am in Winchester Hospital. I have been volunteering for two years this summer. I’m here every Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Some things I do: discharge people, bring specimens to the lab, bring patients to different places, and other errands.
I do this for community service. But I enjoy helping out people who are sick because I care about them. I have always wanted to be a nurse. These hours will be good for college.
Not only do I enjoy helping out but also meeting other volunteers. We have to wear red shirts to distinguish between those who are volunteers and those who aren’t.
