AS IS

From a not completely

Forgotten corner

You seduce me

I’ll do as you order

But it goes

Day slides into day

And though I try

I can’t make my love for you stay

And I ask myself why

You always have to fight

Why I can’t see you tonight

Why you can’t

Accept me as is

I call at two

As you’d want me to

It’s late

Feelings of hate brew

So I go

Next day

“You don’t love me”

That’s what you say

And I can’t see why

You always have to fight

Why I can’t just see you tonight

Why you can’t

Accept me as is

You say

I avoid confrontation

You say

You create confrontation

I say

You create stress and tension

There’s a difference

How dare you be so hypocritical

Your words hit me

Like a hammer would tickle

Have you no pity

I want to scream

I’m sick of reading

Your hidden messages

Your life is a play

People are your stages

How How How

How dare you be so hypocritical

Your words hit me

Like a hammer would tickle

Have you no pity

You think you’re so much better
