THE DIARY PROJECT

http://www.diaryproject.com/

The Diary Project is a non-profit organization founded in 1995. The Diary Project website for which you are submitting material is a forum for peers to support peers. It is monitored by a group of teen volunteers who are overseen by Diary Project staff. It is not professional therapy or counseling. If things are feeling overwhelming in your life, we encourage you to seek out an adult that you trust (teacher, friend’s parents’, relative, school counselor, psychologist, medical doctor, clergy, etc.) for guidance and support. We are committed to printing your entries just as you write them without editing or censorship however: Excessive use of vulgar language and explicit profanity may be deemed offensive and could lead to your comments being permanently deleted from this site so please respect this standard. Just some advice: 1. If you use your real name - just use a first name. 2. Don't give out a lot of details about yourself ie: what you look like, where you live, name of your school, phone number - you get it ... use good judgment. 3. Don't agree to meet someone you meet on the website unless accompanied by an adult or older friend, initially.
